How To Change The Map On Your Quake 4 Server

This is what you do if you want your Quake 4 server to start on a specific map. Maps are entered as their path, for example mp/q4dm6.

Changing The Map

  1. 1
    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  2. 2
    In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
    Under Gameplay, edit Map and enter the map path, for example mp/q4dm6.
  4. 4
    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Leave Map empty to start on a stock map for your game type. The map must support your game type, or the server won't load it. To play more than one map, set a map rotation.
