How To Set A Map Rotation On Your Quake 4 Server

A map rotation is the list of maps your Quake 4 server plays one after another. When a match ends, the server moves on to the next map in the list.

Setting A Map Rotation

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
Under Gameplay, edit Map Rotation and enter the map paths separated by semicolons, for example mp/q4dm1;mp/q4dm3;mp/q4dm6.
  4. 4
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Leave Map Rotation empty and your server cycles through every stock map that supports your game type. See Change Map for the map paths and which game types each map supports.

Note

Only use maps that support your game type. A map that doesn't support it won't load.
