How To Set A Password On Your Quake 4 Server

A server password keeps your Quake 4 server private, so only players who know it can join.

Setting A Password

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
    Under Basic, edit Server Password and enter the password you want.
  4. 4
    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

The password can be up to 32 characters and can't contain spaces or double quotes. Players enter it when they join from the server browser.

To make your server public again, clear the Server Password field and click Save & Restart.
