Here's how to add admins on your Squad server using the Admins.cfg file.

Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.

In the sidebar, go to Files.

Navigate to SquadGame/ServerConfig/ and open Admins.cfg.

At the bottom, add a line for each admin with their Steam64 ID and a group name, replacing the placeholder with the player's ID:

Save the file and start your server.

Two groups exist by default: Admin can kick, ban and change maps, while Moderator can only kick and ban.

Admins run admin commands such as AdminKick or AdminChangeLayer from the in-game console. The same commands work over RCON.

Creating Custom Groups

You can create your own groups by adding a Group= line above your admins, listing the permissions the group should have:

Permission	Description
`balance`	Change teams even when it would unbalance them.
`ban`	Ban players from the server.
`cameraman`	Use the admin spectator camera.
`canseeadminchat`	See the admin chat plus teamkill and admin-join notifications.
`changemap`	Change the current or next map.
`chat`	Use admin chat and broadcast server messages.
`cheat`	Run server cheat commands.
`clientdemos`	Record demos on their own PC with commands or the replay screen.
`config`	Change server settings, such as the max players.
`debug`	View admin stats and other debugging info.
`demos`	Record demos on the server with admin commands.
`featuretest`	Use features the developers are testing.
`forceteamchange`	Move other players to the other team.
`immune`	Protected from kicks and bans.
`kick`	Kick players from the server.
`manageserver`	Shut the server down.
`pause`	Pause, end or restart the match.
`private`	Set a password on the server.
`reserve`	Join through a reserved slot.
`startvote`	Not used.
`teamchange`	Change teams without waiting for the team change timer.
