By default, Game Host Bros Squad servers check for a Squad update every time they start, so a restart is all it takes to update. Players can only join a server that runs the same version of Squad as their game. Here's how to make sure your server keeps itself up to date.
Updating Your Squad Server
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Under
Updates, findAuto Updateand make sure it's enabled. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
Your server now installs the latest Squad update whenever it restarts. When Squad releases an update, restart your server to install it. A daily restart schedule keeps it current without you having to remember.
Updates never touch your admins, bans, layer rotations or other files in SquadGame/ServerConfig/.
