How To Change Your Starbound Server Name

Your Starbound server name is set in its config file. Here is how to change it.

Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.

In the sidebar, go to Files.

Open the storage folder and open starbound_server.config.

Find the serverName line and change the text between the quotes to your new name.

Save the file and start your server.

Note

Keep the quotes and the comma at the end of the line. If the file has a mistake, your server won't start and the console shows the line to fix.
