Here's how to set up admins on your The Forest server. Admin status is tied to your connection password and gives access to a set of chat commands for managing players and the server.
Becoming A Server Admin
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settingsand note yourAdmin Password(this is different from the regularServer Password). - 3Connect to your server, entering the
Admin Passwordinstead of the regularServer Passwordwhen prompted. - 4In-game, press
Enterto open chat, type a command, and pressEnteragain to send it.
Admin Chat Commands

/allowbuildingdestruction on/off | Toggles building destruction. |
/allowenemiescreative on/off | Toggles enemies on creative saves. |
/ban SteamID | Bans a player. |
/closelogs | Closes the server log view. |
/help | Lists the admin commands available to you. |
/kick SteamID | Kicks a player. |
/openlogs | Opens the server log view. |
/restart | Restarts the server. |
/save slotNum | Saves to the given slot, overwriting whatever's already there. Values: 1-5 |
/shutdown | Shuts the server down. |
/treeregrowmode on/off | Toggles tree regrowth. |

/allowbuildingdestruction and /allowenemiescreative are also available as persistent Building Destruction and Enemies in Creative Mode toggles under Settings in Bropanel. See our Configure Your Server guide.
