How to Create a GSLT for The Forest (Steam Game Server Login Token)

Here is how you create a GSLT for The Forest and add it to your server. This is required. Players won't be able to connect until a valid token is set, and the server needs it to save player progress.

Creating a GSLT Token

    Go here and log in with your Steam account.

    Under App ID, enter 242760 for The Forest, then name the memo anything you want.

    Visit Bropanel and select your The Forest server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.

    Enter your token under Steam Account Token.

    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Note

Each The Forest server you run requires its own GSLT.
