Here's how to change the difficulty on your The Forest server.
Changing Difficulty
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Set
DifficultytoPeaceful,Normal,Hard, orHardSurvival. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
| Difficulty | What it does |
|---|---|
| Peaceful | Removes enemies entirely, so you can build and explore without any combat. |
| Normal | The standard, balanced experience. |
| Hard | Increases enemy aggression and damage, and makes survival more punishing. |
| HardSurvival | Everything in Hard, plus a harsher survival layer: animals and fish are scarce, cold, poison, fire and polluted water hit several times harder, health regenerates slowly, food restores less, and your weight tracks calories eaten against calories burnt. |
