How To Add Bots To Your Xonotic Server

Bots keep your Xonotic server playable when only a few people are on. They fill the server up to the number you set and leave as real players join.

Adding Bots

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.

    Under Gameplay, find Bots and enter how many players the server should always have, for example 6.

    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Set Bots to 0 to turn bots off. To change how good the bots are, see Bot Skill.

Note

Bots join once a player is on the server, so an empty server shows no bots. In team modes, bots fill each team up to half the number you set, so maps with three or four teams get more bots. Bots never go over Max Players.
