How To Use FastDL On Your Xonotic Server

At Game Host Bros, your Xonotic server comes with FastDL, so players download your custom maps over the web instead of slowly through the game server. Everything is automatic: just upload your custom maps.

How Does FastDL Work?

• Every .pk3 file in your server's data folder is synced to the fastdl folder when your server starts.
• The stock game files are left out, because every player already has them.
• Your server tells players where to download from by itself. Players don't need to change anything.
• Files you delete from your server are removed from FastDL on the next start.
