By default, Game Host Bros Xonotic servers install the newest Xonotic release whenever they restart, so your server stays up to date. Your config, maps and settings are kept.
Updating Your Xonotic Server
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Under
Updates, find theAuto Updatetoggle and make sure it's enabled. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
Your server now checks for a new Xonotic release every time it starts. After a new release comes out, restart your server to install it. Turn Auto Update off if you want to stay on the version you have.
Tip
A new release is a large download, so the first start after one can take a few minutes. Players should update their game to the same release.
