How To Keep Your OpenTTD Server Updated

When Auto Update is on, the server checks for a new stable OpenTTD release every time it starts and installs it. Your saves, settings and files are kept. It is on by default.

Turning Automatic Updates On Or Off

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under Updates, enable or disable Auto Update.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Players can only join with the same OpenTTD version as the server. Keep it on so your server matches players who update their game, and turn it off only if your group stays on an older version together.
