How To Pause Your OpenTTD Server When Nobody Is Playing

With Pause When Empty on, the game pauses while no player is in a company, so time and money stand still and nobody comes back to a bankrupt company. It is on by default. Turn it off if you want the world to keep running with nobody online.

Changing Pause When Empty

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under Gameplay, enable or disable Pause When Empty.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Spectators don't count as players, so the game stays paused while only spectators are connected.
