How To Restore A Character Backup In Valheim

This is what you do if you need to restore a local character backup in Valheim. Characters are saved on your own PC, not on your Valheim server. To restore your world, see Automatic Backups.

Character Backups

Here's how to restore your character to an earlier backup; this is useful if you've lost a tombstone or would simply like to play a previous version of your character.

    Open Valheim.

    From the main menu, click Manage Saves.

    Select Characters.

    Select your character and choose a backup, then click Restore Backup.
